Sigma Nu at Colorado State

Why Become A Sigma Nu?

The transition for every new college student coming from high school is not easy, but joining a fraternity can aid in the process of becoming a focused, academic individual. Being a Sigma Nu is unlike many other groups on campus because we create an environment in which members are all there for the purpose of supporting brothers on either side of them. We value the importance of academic success. Sigma Nu was founded to create an environment for ethical leaders, true gentlemen, and develop lifelong friendships.

As the first fraternity on the Colorado State campus, we value the fact that we carry a rich line of tradition and values that have stood the trial of time. The fraternity was founded in 1915, and after being off campus in 2000, the chapter was re-chartered in 2010.
The Delta Rho chapter of Sigma Nu has been recoginzed as an outstanding organization by the CSU Iterfraternity Council, and has recently been awarded for:

  • Chapter of The Year (Seal of Approval Gold Status)
  • Excellence in Academics
  • Excellence in Fraternal Values
  • Excellence in Membership Development & Retention
  • Excellence in Risk Management & Accountability

Your collegiate time here at Colorado State is limited, but these years can also be the most memorable. We encourage you to seriously consider your opportunity to become something more, and become a Sigma Nu.

A few of our members were also recognized by the CSU Interfraternity Council:

  • Cameron Delphia - Outstanding Chapter President of The Year
  • Luke Allen - Up & Coming Leader of The Year
  • Jonathan Ng - Outstanding Campus Involvement
  • Zack Schrag - Living the Ritual
